Information
About
Bangalore :
Legend
has it that King Veera Ballala of Vijayanagara kingdom was once
lost in the forest and happened to stumble upon a lonely
cottage. An old woman who lived there could offer the starving
king only boiled beans or "benda kalu" and this gave
Bangalore its name.
Draped
over the Deccan Plateau at an altitude of 920 meters, Bangalore
is blessed with the most pleasant climate in India. The
temperatures range from 33 C to 21 C in summer and 25 C to 15 C
in winter. You would need a sweater during winter and monsoon
i.e. between September and February; else light cottons would
work fine.
